Great time with JBC friends and visitors today at the Indonesia Readers Festival 2015! We have book swaps, book reading, and games with a grand prize of a signed copy of J.K. Rowling book. Tomorrow we’ll be reading Haruki Murakami’s short stories, put some records on (yes, with plates!) and hope to engage with a good crowd again. Today there are more than 50 ppl wrote on our guest list. Thank you awesome volunteers! – with Dinasandika at Festival pembaca Indonesia 2015

I will be reading two short stories from Eka Kurniawan, a 40 y.o. writer and philosopher whose books and short stories have been published on local media and translated into several languages. He’s most notably known for his book, “Beauty is a Wound”. Some even compared his style of writing with Pramoedya A. Toer or Mark Twain. We can discuss it tomorrow @Indonesia Readers Festival. 1-2pm. #IRF2015
